Taiye Taiwo is an erudite and consummate business man. He was born on the 10^th December, 1954. He had his elementary education at Isonyi Grammar School Isonyi Ijebu Ode upon attain his WASC he proceeded to Kilburn Polytechnic London.

In his quest to become an accountant, he attended London School of Accounting and also Chichester University, United Kingdom.

Taiyo Taiwo has had a flourishing career both as a banker and in the private sector. He has the following credentials to his credit:

• Qualified as a Chartered Secretary (ACIS) and also an MBA (Strategic Management and Leadership)
• Worked in Central Bank 1980 to 1993 and Voluntarily retired from the bank in 1993 as an Assistant to promote the following companies:

1. Ventures Nominee Ltd (Companies Secretary)
2. JP Amota Cleaners Co Ltd (Waste Management and Cleaning Services

• Heck Technologies (Logistics and presently Brand Management of Hope BSB and 9PSB)

As a man of strong faith and deep strong spirituality, He has been a strong and vibrant member of the YMCA of Lagos who has served in different capabilities and positions and has risen through the ranks to the Vice Chairman of the Association.

He has held the following positions in the YMCA of Lagos.

• Past Harvest Chairman, Council of Church, YMCA
• Past member, Finance Committee of YMCA of Lagos
• Member, Programme Committee, YMCA of Lagos

On the 25^th of July, 2022 he was appointed as the Vice Chairman of YMCA of Lagos Board of Management.

Mr. Taiye Taiye is widely travelled to different continents of the world. He is happily married and blessed with children.
